Prairie Sky School

This $30 Million Alberta Infrastructure project was completed in 2023. The school has an enrollment of approx. 900 students.

RSR was hired by Alberta Infrastructure, to provide LEED Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning services.

RSR provided the following list of commissioning services from design to warranty

• Mechanical
• Electrical
• Security
• Building Envelope
• Acoustic
• Integrated System Testing

The systems commissioned included boilers, chiller, Fan coils, VAV boxes, Dust Collector, pumps, exhaust fans, Solar Systems, Emergency lockdown Systems, Lighting Systems, motorized blinds, sound systems and others.

Air balancing of the building and particularly through the cooking area/classroom was a challenge that we were able to resolve with the design engineer.
