Our main goal as a successful commissioning team is to ensure that the design is realized operationally – that form follows function – and that the facility operates according to design criteria, construction specifications and owner objectives.

Evaluate your original design intent

Many existing facilities were never commissioned when they were constructed. Re-commissioning is the process by which the original design intent and existing facility systems are evaluated and reconciled with respect to present load conditions. Working with the building operations team, we are able to evaluate and recommend changes to offer the most efficient and effective operation.

RE-COMMISSIONING

Our method

Through the use of a web based digital tracking system our commissioning agents are able to create and manage the commissioning process in an organized and central location. This allows us to assign tasks, schedule activities with the site teams, and date stamp completed items to provide our clients with a full chronological audit trail of the testing processes.

LIFECYCLE COMMISSIONING

Monitor to maintain optimum performance.

Once a facility is functioning properly, it must be correctly maintained to operate effectively and efficiently. With life-cycle commissioning, system performance is monitored on a scheduled basis and assistance is provided to maintain continued optimum performance.  With the help of building operators, maintenance plans are developed to ensure the building remains functional.

Improve and optimize your building

A systematic investigative process for improving and optimizing a buildings operation and maintenance procedures which can be undertaken at any time in the life of a building. INTEGRATED SYSTEM TESTING

Ensure fire and life safety systems are interconnected and operating together

Across Canada, the building code now requires Integrated System Testing (IST) to be completed where fire and life safety systems are interconnected and operating together in compliance with CAN/ULC-S1001.

Our Integrated Systems Coordinators gathers all of the information from drawings, specs, Fire Alarm VI, Fire Protection System, elevators, HVAC tests and others, along with the facility information and creates a customized Integration System Plan following ULC standards.

RSR Commissioning has Integrated Systems Coordinators that have completed over 20 Integrated Systems Tests on residential towers, commercial buildings, manufacturing plants, Health Care and schools over the last couple of years.
